She Designs & Thrives™ is an online hub created to help creative women turn their ideas into thriving online businesses with confidence, clarity, and joy.

Our mission is simple: to empower women to design, build, and grow the businesses (and lives) they dream of without the overwhelm, confusion, or burnout.

We believe that every woman has something incredible inside her - a creative spark, a passion, an idea that could change her life. Sometimes, she just needs the right tools, a bit of clarity, and a community that reminds her she can do it.

MY STORY

Hi, I’m Suzanne.

If your path to building a business has been anything but straight, you’re in good company.

My journey began at home with my first son. I taught myself HTML while he napped and built my first website, Link-N-Shop, an affiliate marketing site that opened my eyes to the possibilities of the online world.

A few years later, as a mom of two and an active member of the breastfeeding community, I created Breastfeed M.O.M.s (Moms on a Mission), a supportive online space for new mothers. That passion for helping women never really left me.

Soon after, I joined a friend’s magazine company as their manager and web designer. When advertisers started asking me to design their websites too, my first web design business was born, and even a local women’s non-profit business group I started began to thrive.

Then one day, a client asked me to create her Etsy banners and logos, and that simple request changed everything. I discovered Etsy and eventually launched my own shop.

Within three months, I had over 5,000 sales. My shop skyrocketed into the top 1% of Etsy sellers, evolving from scrabble tile necklaces to hand-stamped and laser-engraved jewelry. Even with three full-time employees, we could barely keep up.

But as my business grew, so did my desire for more freedom and creativity. When life threw a few curveballs, I pivoted, moving from inventory-heavy products to sublimation and eventually print-on-demand. By 2020, our small family team was packing so many orders my husband still jokes about the wrist brace he needed that Christmas (and unfortunately still does when he sleeps)!

After 16 years on Etsy, I transitioned into digital design for other creative entrepreneurs. Around the same time, I began working as a clinical assistant in a breast imaging clinic, once again supporting women through a deeply personal journey.

That shift reminded me of something I’d always known: my purpose has never changed.

To help women, whether through healing, creativity, or courage, believe in themselves and build something beautiful.

That’s how She Designs & Thrives™ was born - a space to help women like you believe in yourself, create with confidence, and build something beautiful.
