My story didn’t begin in a studio or a business program. It began in the quiet moments of motherhood during nap times, with a laptop on the kitchen table, and a desire to create something meaningful.

The Early Days: Where Creativity First Became Freedom

When my first son was born, I taught myself HTML during nap times and built my very first website. It opened my eyes to a world where creativity and technology blended into opportunity. Soon after, I created a supportive online space for new mothers, a community called Breastfeeding M.O.M.s (Moms on a Mission), and I discovered how much I loved helping women feel supported, seen, and connected.

I didn’t know it then, but the seeds for She Designs & Thrives™ were already planted.

The Business Growth Years: Building, Scaling, Becoming

As my skills grew, so did the requests. I managed a local magazine, designed websites for clients, and eventually (thanks to a simple request to design an Etsy banner) I opened my first Etsy shop.

Within three months, the shop exploded. It became a top 1% Etsy store, with thousands of sales and a team helping me produce custom jewelry, engraved pieces, and creative gifts. We shipped nonstop, especially during the holidays. It was exhilarating… and exhausting.

Success looked beautiful on the outside.
Inside, it was overwhelming.

The Breaking Point: When Creativity Became Chaos

The truth is, I pushed myself too hard for too long. I tried to hold everything together - the business, motherhood, responsibilities, expectations - until eventually, I couldn’t.

Burnout hit hard. Not the “I need a weekend off” kind. The “my body and mind need a full reset” kind.

That season taught me one of the most important lessons of my life:

A business can thrive only when you do.

The Shift: Choosing Intention, Clarity & Balance

When I rebuilt my creative life, I made a promise:

● no more burnout

● no more chaos

● no more overworking myself into the ground

● no more building businesses that swallow your whole life

Instead, I chose:

● clarity over pressure

● calm over hustle

● sustainable growth over nonstop pushing

● purpose over perfection

I moved into print-on-demand, digital products, and now teaching other women how to build businesses that feel aligned, joyful, and supportive not draining.

The Return to Purpose: Helping Women Believe in Themselves

Around the time of my mental breaking point and ultimate closing of that business, I took a job working in a breast imaging clinic supporting women during one of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. It reminded me that my purpose never changed: to help women feel seen, supported, and capable.

Creatively. Emotionally. Personally. And that led me right here.
